eSIM for Umrah and Hajj: Mobile Data in Saudi Arabia, 10% Off with UMRAH-RRUGO
During Umrah or Hajj you need the internet every day: to call your family, to find your way in Makkah and Madinah, and to stay in touch with your group. Roaming from Kosovo, Albania or North Macedonia in Saudi Arabia is very expensive. An eSIM solves it for a few euros, and you can set it up at home before you fly.
10% off with the code UMRAH-RRUGO
Enter UMRAH-RRUGO in the cart and you get 10% off every eSIM, for Saudi Arabia and any other country. Buying for the whole family? The code works on every eSIM in the same order.

How it works
- Buy the eSIM on rrugo.com/esim or in the RruGO app, and enter UMRAH-RRUGO in the cart.
- The QR code arrives straight away, on the screen and by email.
- Install it at home before you leave, while you are on Wi-Fi.
- When you land in Jeddah or Madinah, choose the eSIM for mobile data and turn on "Data roaming" for it.
Tips for Umrah and Hajj
- Install before you fly. Airport and hotel Wi-Fi can be slow, and you need a connection to install the eSIM.
- Your own number stays in the phone for calls and text messages, for example bank codes. Just turn off data roaming for it so you don't pay roaming.
- Hotel Wi-Fi in Makkah is often overloaded when it is busy. With the eSIM you stay connected anywhere.
- Keep the order page or the email. It always has your QR code and how much data you have left.
- Travelling as a family or group? You can buy up to 10 eSIMs in one payment, and each one gets its own QR code.
Does your phone support eSIM?
Most recent phones do: iPhone XR and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and Google Pixel 3 and newer. The quickest check: dial *#06#. If an EID number shows up, your phone supports eSIM. The phone also has to be unlocked.
